Last night was the greatest show of my life.  Weerd Science and 3.  Just about all of my favorite musicians under one roof, in my favorite classy venue, Bearsville Theater in Woodstock.  It was a night of Eppic proportions, and I’m happy to say, is downloadable for all to experience at http://aftershowmusic.com

Tonight has the potential to be even better.  It’s an Eppard Family Values show featuring Joey Eppard, Josh Eppard, Jimmy Eppard and John (The Baker) Eppard!  It’ll be a musical free-for-all.  Starts at 9, but ends whenever they decide to stop.  They’ll be performing together and separately.  Eppard Brothers, E-Males, JEppardy, Slimy Penis Breath (15 year anniversary reunion), Weerd Science, 3…  hell maybe even some Session 606.  Who the fuck knows what’ll happen?  The Eppard Extravaganza will happen at The Basement in Kingston, NY.

“So Much for Us” is a photo album chronicling the underground music scene of Woodstock and Kingston, New York during the late 90s and early 00s.

Bands include:
Melancholy, Knucklediver, Fistfight, Shabutie, Pitchfork Militia, Jerk Magnet, Mearth, Slipfist, Joey’s Throwing Elbows, Slugworth, 3, Brain Fuck Daddy, Vein Feed, Teknodrome, Stripsearch, Faedra’s Ex Boyfriends, Stealth, Fuse, The Phlegm Chuckers, Cirrhosis, Bluefoot Nation, Pleonasm, Bleed Theory, Anadivine, Coheed and Cambria, and Divest.

The book was designed and edited by Zac Shaw,
founder of local scene zine Pull, on which most of the book is based

Can it be tomorrow already?

Well, technically in a few minutes it will be…  but there’s a huuuge announcement coming that I can barely hold inside anymore…

Not to mention the uber exciting live premiere of 3’s new music video, “Rabid Animals” at 10pm EST…

Such an exciting week! I can’t wait for tomorrow! 3’s going to premiere their music video for “Rabid Animals” at 10PM EST on sputnikmusic.com and chat kinda like they did when filming the video back in October. It was the coolest thing ever, sitting comfortable on my couch, watching them film the video live and take suggestions from my fellow fans… I’m so fucking stoked to see the final product!

Friday and Saturday are gonna be beyond dope too. Friday 3 will be celebrating the release of Revisions at the always classy Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY. Those shows are always the best. The band plays forever and is just totally in their element. Definitive hometown show for sure. This one will certainly be one to remember though, since Weerd Science is sharing the stage, for the first time EVER! Obviously Joey and Josh have performed together before… as 3. As the Eppard Brothers. 3 opened for Coheed and Cambria on tour while Josh was still their drummer. But this is the very first time Josh will be bearing his heart and soul on the same stage that Joey will do the same. I’m beyond ecstatic for this. Then Saturday is like the afterparty. The Eppard Extravaganza at The Basement in Kingston. Josh will be performing Weerd Science material. Joey will be performing his solo material. The two of them will also be performing as Eppard Brothers. Their dad, Jimmy Eppard, will join in (E-Males)… and their uncle, John The Baker (JEppardy). Soo fucking stoked for the big family reunion. Uncle John moved to California and has been rockin’ with his band, Instant Asshole. He’s comin’ back for the Woodstock show, and this show- which is also the 15 year anniversary reunion of his band - Slimy Penis Breath… which had material concerning his arrest in Woodstock in 1994 for cursing in public during an acoustic performance. He sued the Popo for violating his first amendment rights… won, and also helped initiate a private investigation which blew the lid off that cop as well as several others fucking little girls. Man, it’s gonna be a blast!
